Hi dancers! This follow along beginner contemporary dance class is really fun and dynamic. The choreography is full of flexibility tricks, floor work, turns, and extensions. A lot of these basic contemporary dance moves can be used when you are creating your own dance. Get creative with it! So, whether you are learning to dance at home or training at a studio, this contemporary routine for beginners will challenge your technique. You can rewind and learn the combo as slow or quick as you want. Don't be intimidated by the music tempo, take one step at a time, then piece it all together at your own pace. XO.

Hello my lovely ballet dancers! Today I walk you through a beginner ballet jump tutorial. This grand allegro class focuses on pas de chat, sissonne, arabesque sauté, and saut de chat jumps. Dance leaps are so much fun when you get the hang of the technique and strength needed! Whether you are learning ballet at home or training at a studio, it's always helpful to review basic ballet moves, like your leaps, so you can continue to improve. Ballet leaps are much easier when you are flexible, so be sure to pop over to one of my flexibility stretches videos and work on your range of motion. It's also helpful to have strong muscles, so go to one of my dance conditioning and how to jump higher videos. Don't forget to learn the vocabulary and names of each step! I hope you love practicing your ballet jumps with me! xo

Alright folks! Today Matt is bringing you a beginner contemporary hip hop routine. This basic hip hop dance is groovy, funky, and rhythmic. Matt starts by breaking down the contemporary hip hop choreography, move by move, until he demonstrates the full dance for you. Contemporary hip hop is a fun dance style that encompasses a lot of different elements and is a great chance to break out of your comfort zone. For my beginner hip hop dancers, this is great practice to work on musicality and smooth transitions. For my contemporary dancers that want to push their limits, this is wonderful to challenge your dance technique and artistry. MY LOVES! I am back with another beginner jazz dance. This sassy, simple jazz combination works on musicality, technique, and is oh so fun. I love teaching you basic jazz moves because it reminds me to focus on clean lines, sharp arms, and performance. In this routine we have a pirouette, some floor work, chaîné turns, and foot work phrases with passé. Follow along dance classes are a great way to learn dance at home, especially right now.
